Local Bald Eagles seem like they are protecting their territories more aggressively now. Breeding season is approaching. We saw three pairs of eagles sparring in the air over Bay Point Park yesterday morning. More pelicans stopped at Colvill Park to feed and rest before continuing migrating south. When I was taking aurora pictures at Colvill Park around 10 pm, a large group of pelicans flew into the bay. We heard Tundra Swans flying high overhead, but have not seen them yet.
