Migration continues, eagles working on their nest

During high winds, we saw migrating cormorants and pelicans as they flew past He Mni Can/Barn Bluff in Red Wing. Eagles were flying and Turkey Vultures were having trouble in the winds. Vultures are not as strong as eagles, so they look ‘tippy’ when trying to navigate gusty winds. We also saw three Peregrine Falcons as they cruised around in the winds and they had no problem. Yesterday, we saw an eagle pair working on their nest. One eagle flew over to a tree, snapped off a branch, and brought it to the nest.
