We are expecting some eagle eggs to hatch in the next week, with incubation time being around 36 days. We have seen at least seven eagle nests around Red Wing with a parent sitting. Also, the Great Blue Herons are sitting on their nests in the rookery at Bay Point Park. We are waiting for the first egg from the Peregrine Falcons in the nest box on the Red Wing Grain tower. Other birds we’ve seen include Northern Flickers, Brown Creepers, Eastern Phoebes, Tree Swallows, various waterfowl, and lots of Robins.
