After the snowstorm, 32 eagles at Colvill Park, Pelicans remain

Red Wing received about five inches of snow since Friday night, and it appears this brought many eagles to town, along with the snowstorm a few days ago further north. Today we counted at least 32 eagles at Colvill Park, many of them immature eagles. A group of pelicans continue at Colvill Park, resting and feeding in the bay. Also, a few Common Mergansers and Common Goldeneyes have appeared on the river, migrating from the north.
