After a sub-zero night, the river channel was mostly filled with floating ice. In the morning, we counted around 50 eagles at Colvill Park, and by afternoon there were 70 in the trees around the bay, and another 70 across the river channel and on Carlson Island. The large group of Common Mergansers remain, and Common Goldeneyes have shown up.
