We think up to 20 Bald Eagles were present at Colvill Park late this afternoon, with activity picking up after 5 pm. We saw multiple successfully fishing and active chases after eagles who caught fish. In one case, an adult male eagle had a fish on the ice and an immature female came and took the fish from him. Female Bald Eagles are larger than the males and this one overwhelmed the adult male.
