Colvill Park continues to have the highest eagle numbers in the weekly counts of the National Eagle Center. Today’s count was 39 Bald Eagles seen at Colvill Park. See the counts here: bit.ly/3Pb4an7
The National Eagle Center posted on Facebook a discussion of why the Bald Eagle numbers are lower this winter. The issue is thought to be lack of snow on the ground. This allows the eagles for forage for food away from the river.
