With more ice on the river, an increased number of eagles came back to Colvill Park and along the river today. The channel was full of ice floes this morning and lots of Mergansers and Goldeneyes. We saw another 50 eagles along the Wisconsin side of the river near He Mni Can/Barn Bluff. In the afternoon, we saw multiple eagles on ice by Carlson Island trying to share a big fish. More cold weather will bring more ice, and maybe more eagles.
