Yesterday, we saw lots of eagle activity at Colvill Park, with some notable interactions. When eagles would catch a fish from the river, they would usually have to fight off other eagles trying to steal the prize. Today, we saw an immature eagle fly by us at Bay Point Park with a big fish, and just two feet off the ground, to land inside the park. The eagle had time to eat some of the fish before an adult pair found him and tried to steal the fish. We believe the immature eagle was able to escape with the fish. All in all, a couple of busy days watching eagles.
