We saw a few baby eagles in our around their nests when we took our boat out to the river backwaters. One nest on the river appears to have fallen since we last visited, but we saw three fledgling eagles active on branches near the nest site, with parents watching closely. So, we assume the young eagles survived the fall and are preparing to fly. One of the young eagles was flapping her wings and bouncing up and down on a tree branch.
