We were visited by newly arrived birds, including Grosbeaks, Catbirds, Orioles, and Warblers. Some come to feeders and others are only found in the woods and water’s edge. I visited Frontenac State Park and Lake Byllesby near Cannon Falls to see some birds.
The local Peregrine Falcon pair are brooding four eggs, so we’re actively watching the webcam for them to hatch. The parents take turns covering the eggs, getting food, and chasing eagles away from their nest box. See link to webcam here: Red Wing Grain Falcons
