In blizzard conditions, Red Wing received over 8 inches of wet heavy snow that stuck to everything. Luckily, none of the local eagle nests were taken down by the storm. The local eagles all seem to be planning families. They continue work on their nests and at least one eagle appears to be waiting for an egg. Also, we have spotted one of a pair of Peregrine Falcons at the Red Wing Grain tower. The mate for this falcon has yet to show up.
