The eagles were really active after the snow slowed down today, after we received over 4 inches of new snow. Eagles at Colvill Park were fighting over a really big fish on the ice. As many as 17 eagles participated in a scrum to get a chance at the fish. We counted 70 eagles around the bay at Colvill Park and at least another dozen across the river. Bay Point Park had over 20 eagles in the trees across the river and flying over the river channel.
