Bay Point Park had two resident pairs of eagles perched across the river this morning. We counted 14 eagles around the bay in Colvill Park this morning. After noon, the number dropped after fishing boats launched into the bay. A few eagles had disputes over the river and I saw an immature eagle perched by the back marina. Colder temperatures are returning for a few days, which could result in backwaters icing up again.
