Floodwaters recede, eagles and falcons fledge

Floodwaters in Red Wing crested and have dropped enough to reopen the city parks. In the area, we have seen at least four eagle families with three babies. It looks like a good year for most eagle pairs. The Peregrine Falcons nesting on the Red Wing Grain building have fledged and are flying on their own now. Their hunting skills are still developing, so they beg for food from the parents.
