All four Peregrine Falcon chicks have now fully fledged and left the nest box. The last baby was a little slow out of the box and perched near the Red Wing Grain entrance and a day or two. Now, they are hanging around the area, usually on a nearby rooftop or flying around the buildings. They don’t appear to hunt by themselves so the parents are bringing them food regularly.
At Frontenac State Park, I saw a pair of Great Horned Owl fledglings, so other raptor babies are starting to fly.
