Subzero Temperatures and More Eagle Activity

Temperatures were below zero this morning and eagles were active many times during the day. We expect they need to eat more often with the cold temperature. Colvill Park was the scene of many confrontations between eagles as they competed for caught fish and defended territory. One of the resident eagles pulled up grasses to line the nest.

Bay Point Park was quieter with only resident eagle pairs sitting by the steaming river.
